SINC refocusing pulse of 180° flip angle
In this task, we assume that initially all the longitudinal magnetization is on transverse plane. So Mxy = 1 and Mz = 0. A dephasing gradient is played out which induces 2*pi dephasing of transverse magnetization Mxy on xy plane. Then a SINC refocusing pulse of 180° flip angle is played out which rotates Mxy by 180° around xy plane and after that a rephrasing gradient rephases Mxy on xy plane to form a spin echo.
